Litigation firm launches new year with Jack Leer as named partner, new website

January 14, 2015 (SAN DIEGO) — Caldarelli Hejmanowski & Page LLP is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2015 the firm has been renamed Caldarelli Hejmanowski Page & Leer LLP. The change reflects the addition of partner Jack Leer to the firm’s name, and the firm has launched a new website with the updated name of the litigation boutique. “The decision to add Jack’s name to the firm demonstrates the value we place on Jack’s professional expertise and his integral role in the future of our business,” said Bill Caldarelli, one of the founding members of the firm. “Since joining our firm, Jack has expanded our practice areas, won several important trials for our clients, and helped to grow our business.” Leer joined Caldarelli Hejmanowski & Page in 2013 after spending 13 years at Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, where he was a partner and a member of that firm’s executive committee. He represents clients in a broad range of business litigation, including real estate and construction disputes, partnership and corporate management matters, and intellectual property litigation. Among other industries, Leer has built a practice representing craft breweries in trademark and other commercial litigation. He currently serves as President of the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation. Caldarelli Hejmanowski Page & Leer LLP first opened in November 2011 with partners Bill Caldarelli, Lee Hejmanowski and Marisa Janine-Page. The founding partners all hail from widely-recognized regional and international law firms, and have extensive experience as lead counsel in jury and court trials, as well as in arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings. Leer joined the firm as partner in February 2013, and the firm has quickly grown to six full-time attorneys with the addition of two associates, Ben West and David Lichtenstein. Firm’s second year on prestigious list.

David Lichtenstein joins as an associate of the firm

October 20, 2014 (SAN DIEGO)  – The law firm of Caldarelli Hejmanowski & Page LLP announced that attorney David Lichtenstein has joined the firm as an associate.  Lichtenstein joins the firm after six years at Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, where he was an associate in the litigation department.  Lichtenstein’s practice focuses on commercial and business litigation, including real estate disputes, partnership disputes, and intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret litigation.  He has been recognized as a top young attorney in San Diego by several publications, including being named a “Top Young Attorney” by the San Diego Daily Transcript.

Lichtenstein is active in the San Diego community. He has been a member of the planning committee for the American Cancer Society’s Downtown San Diego Relay for Life since 2008 and has been the Head Coach of the University of California, San Diego Mock Trial Team for the past seven years.
